Chalktoberfest combines Marietta’s annual Chalk Art Festival with its Craft Beer Festival and features two days of activities. The beer festival portion of the event takes place from noon-5 p.m. on Saturday, and a ticket lets you choose from unlimited samples of over 120 types of beer and 25 varieties of wine and also get a souvenir cup. Sample craft beers, watch professional chalk artists, enjoy live music and more. All proceeds go to the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art.
Taste of Acworth

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

This first annual walk asks men to walk one mile in women’s high-heeled shoes to call attention to the issue of domestic violence. It’s sponsored by the Cobb County Domestic Violence Task Force, The Kennesaw Public Safety Foundation and the Kennesaw Police Department.

The Oakhurst Porchfest

Nearly 200 individual acts will perform on porches in the Oakhurst neighborhood. Masks are required anytime a distance of six feet can’t be maintained between your immediate party and others.
Friday Night Hike

Get in the Halloween spirit by painting a pumpkin at the library and then taking it home to display. You’ll be shown some cool designs to inspire you, and pumpkins and all decorative supplies will be provided. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Slingin’ Wings Festival
