Austin's Quantum Interface, a startup focused on predictive user interfaces for devices including smart phones and for virtual reality, has found its chief executive.

The company said on Tuesday that Kevin Reinis, whose past stints include leading storage teams at Dell and IBM and product managing at Veritas Software, is joining Quantum. In recent years, Reinis has led startups including Austin's NetStreams, FloSports and Electronic Insight.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Quantum Interface team. Our unique and novel dynamic-motion user interface software technologies will change the face of technology and user experience for years to come," Reinis said in a statement.
