Good morning, Austin.

Here's a look at some of the stories making news and generating buzz across the technology world today:

We're still years from the debut of the Apple Car, as the tech media have taken to calling Apple's electric car project. But Motor Trend magazine decided to guess at what the highly anticipated vehicle might look like. The magazine gathered a group of auto design students and asked them to put it on the drawing board. What they came up with is complete speculation and might end up having no resemblance to the real car, but it is pretty darn interesting.

The "swipe left/swipe right" technology popularized by dating app Tinder is making its way into lots of other uses these days. One of the more interesting ones is MightyTv, an app that works like Tinder, but is used for video viewing. Engadget takes a look at the app, which offers you choices of movie and TVs, and you swipe right to like, right and hold to love it, left if you don't like it and up to skip. The software learns as you go, and promises to offer better, more personalized suggestions as you go along.

It's early in the process, but Facebook's new Messenger chatbots are already drawing the ire of some in the tech community. A reviewer at Gizmodo says using the chatbots "is like trying to talk politics with a toddler." And we don't think they mean that in a good way.
