Feeling frustrated Sunday afternoon because you can’t share your selfies with the world?

You are not alone. Instagram is down.

Just before 5 p.m., the company tweeted from @instagram: “We know many of you are having trouble loading Instagram. We identified the issue and are working to fix it ASAP. Thanks for holding on.”

There are 130 million active users of Instagram per month worldwide, the company says. About 45 million photos are shared per day, according to the company’s website.

That means a lot of people have to find something else to do right now.

Stay tuned.
