Grumpy Cat arrives in Austin – and isn’t happy about it

While President Obama was rolling through downtown earlier Friday, another celebrity and her entourage were holding court just a few blocks away.

Grumpy Cat, everyone’s favorite ill-tempered Internet celebrity, posed with fans at the Omni Austin before being whisked away for a weekend’s worth of events intended primarily to promote the new Cat Concoctions meals from her sponsor, Friskies. (Grumpy Cat’s favorite of these “curious combinations chosen by cats”? Lamb and Clam.)

Tabatha Bundesen, Grumpy Cat’s human, said the feline’s favorite things about Austin include “the rainy weather, the cat naps, the crowds and the traffic.”
