Yes, it turns out that IS a life-sized TIE Fighter in downtown Austin.

The model of the "Star Wars" space fighter is on display at SouthBites Trailer Park, a food trailer court at 604 Driskell St. not far from the Austin Convention Center.

Tim Duff got "arrested" Saturday by a Star Wars storm trooper at SXSW 2016. "I broke some rules of the galactic empire," Duff joked.

Brought in by Disney to promote the home video release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," the nearly 20-foot ship model came complete with fully geared-up storm troopers -- who were also available for photo ops with fans.
