10 entered, three walked away winners at Tuesday night's TechCrunch Meet-up and Pitch-off event series when it came to Austin.

Broomly, an Austin- and Houston-based cleaning service (described as "Uber for maids") won first place at the competition.

Prepify, a test-prep company that offers high-quality SAT preparation and information on college admissions officers and scholarships, came in second.

And the Audience Choice award went to Double Dog, is an app that monetizes dares so that friends don't chicken out of paying up.

Those companies will compete in Startup Alley at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco 2016 in September.

Judges included Capital Factory's Joshua Baer, Dell Medical School's Mellie Price and angel investor Alec S. Andronikov.
