Georgia Tech's matchup with the University of Central Florida has been canceled.

The last time the two teams faced off was in 2000 at Bobby Dodd Stadium with Georgia Tech winning 21-17. The Golden Knights and Yellow Jackets have played two more times in 1996 and 1999 with Georgia Tech winning both.

The Golden Knights will miss the first two weeks of the 2017 college football season after having canceled their game against Memphis due to the anticipated impact of Hurricane Irma in Florida.

Saturday's game between the Knights and the Yellow Jackets is part of a home-and-home series announced in 2015 where the Golden Knights travel to Bobby Dodd Stadium on Sept. 19, 2020.
