If you’re making the trip to Queens, NY to watch the Atlanta Braves’ season opener against the New York Mets on Monday afternoon, you’re in for nearly the best opening day weather New York could offer.

After a good amount of rain on Thursday and Friday, The Weather Channel predicts the weather at Citi Field to be warm, but cloudy on Monday afternoon with a high of 61 degrees expected at first pitch at 1 p.m. Temperatures are expected to fall into the low 50s as the sun sets.

Showers are expected in the evening, but only pose a small risk in the afternoon and evening.
