What’s on tap for Atlanta United’s players who are out on loan this weekend?
Forward Hector Villalba and Club Tijuana will play Leon at 10 p.m. Friday. It can be see on Azteca America. Should he play, it will be Villalba’s second appearance.
Midfielder Junior Burgos and Tampa Bay will take on the New York Cosmos at 7 p.m. Saturday. It can be seen on fuboTV.
Midfielder Chris McCann and Conventry City will play Shrewsbury Town at 10 a.m. Saturday in its home opener. McCann can’t play because of a red card earned last year.
Goalkeeper Alex Tambakis and forward Jeffrey Otoo will take on FC Montreal at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. It can be seen on youtube. Andrew Carleton is on duty with the national team.
Forward Kenwyne Jones and Central FC are also off this weekend. They will return Aug. 16 against Sporting KC in CONCACAF Champions League action.
