Late in the second quarter of Saturday’s game against Liberty, Kennesaw State wide receiver Justin Sumpter made the most impressive catch of the week.

Sumpter, a redshirt junior from Tyrone, Ga., caught a five-yard pass from quarterback Chandler Burks with one hand for the Owls touchdown. The score increased Kennesaw State’s lead 28-7.

A Sandy Creek High School graduate, Sumpter finished the Owls’ 42-28 win over Liberty with two receptions for nine yards and one touchdown.
