No. 4 Washington grabbed a 7-0 lead over No. 1 Alabama in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl at the Georgia Dome on Saturday.

Washington quarterback Jake Browning hit Dante Pettis for a 16-yard score in the back right corner of the end zone with 8:01 left.

The touchdown capped an eight-play, 64-yard drive.

Browning ran for 13 yards on third-and-6 at the 40-yard line earlier in the drive. He also completed a screen pass for 20 yards.

Both teams went three-and-out on their first drives.
