Little Leaguers from Georgia were shutout in their first game of the Little League World Series Friday in Williamsport, Pa.

The Peachtree City American team, representing the Southeast Region, went down, 2-0, in 11 innings to the West winners Honolulu, Hawaii.

Jansen Kenty started the game for the Peachtree City American team. He allowed zero runs on four hits over 5-1/3 innings.  Four Peachtree City pitchers combined for 18 strike outs.

Hawaii’s Aukai Kea hit a walk off, two-run home run off Peachtree City’s Ben Traxler in the eleventh inning to advance in the Little League World Series tournament U.S. pool play. Hawaii will face Michigan’s Grosse Pointe Woods team at 2 p.m. Sunday on WSB-TV Channel 2 Action News.

Peachtree City will face Idaho’s Coeur d'Alene squad in the consolation bracket Saturday (8 p.m., ESPN)
