New England Patriots rookie Isaiah Wynn earned his team two nights off from practice after catching a punt to end Monday’s practice.

If Wynn caught the punt downfield, coach Bill Belichick would allow the team two nights free from team curfew, according to defensive end Danny Shelton.

Wynn, a former Georgia offensive lineman drafted 23rd overall by the Patriots in the 2018 NFL Draft, missed his first opportunity, but was given another attempt because his teammates and the crowd of season-ticket members and Foxborough residents that watched Monday’s practice inside Gillette Stadium plead coaches for “one more.”

Wynn’s two attempts can be watched below:

Wynn commented on his catch later Monday on Twitter writing, “Yeah... I’m fine with just being an (offensive) lineman.”
