In an appearance on ESPN’s “Get Up” Tuesday, Charlotte Hornets center Dwight Howard spoke about rediscovering his passion for basketball last season.

Howard, who played with the Atlanta Hawks in the 2016-2017 season, said during his time with the Orlando Magic, he lost some of the passion he had for basketball because of the business side of the game.

“I think the years I had before Charlotte really just kind of woke up the inner Dwight, I would say,” Howard said. “And I’m like, man, I’m really excited about next season to go out there and dominate.”

Howard played for the Magic from 2004-2012, then spent one year with the Los Angeles Lakers before spending three seasons with the Houston Rockets from 2013-2016.
