In the newest mock draft posted by SB Nation’s Dan Kadar, two Georgia players are expected to be drafted in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft..
First Kadar projected Georiga guard Isaiah Wynn will be the first Bulldog to be selected when the Seattle Seahawks take him with the 18th overall selection.
“The Seahawks have to somehow figure out how to get younger while also finding a couple of pro-ready players in this draft,” Kadar wrote. “Until we know how the defense shakes out, a player like Wynn makes the most sense at No. 18.”
One pick after Wynn, Kadar projected Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith will be taken with the 19th overall selection by the Dallas Cowboys. Kadar wrote even though it’s believed Smith will be drafted before the Cowboys have a change to pick, if the SEC Championship MVP happens to drop in the draft because he’s a linebacker that doesn’t always participate in pass rush, the Cowboys could use him.
