After a weekend filled with comments targeting the NFL and player protests, President Donald Trump suggested the NFL create a new rule outlawing the right to kneel during national anthem at games.

Trump's comment that NFL owners should fire "sons of bitches" who take a knee protesting police brutality and injustices during the national anthem at an Alabama rally on Friday sparked outrage among NFL players, owners and coaches during this weekend's games.
