PGA Tour officials opened volunteer registration for the Tour Championship Wednesday.

"Volunteering at a world-class event like the TOUR Championship is a rewarding opportunity to get involved and help impact the community,” executive director of the TOUR Championship Allison Fillmore said in a statement. “Volunteers are an integral piece of the operation of the tournament, and this event would not be possible without the tireless efforts of the hundreds of volunteers that commit their time before, during and after the event.”

Volunteers are required to work a minimum of three shifts during the five-day event. According to the PGA Tour officials, positions are opened for the following committees:

Admissions

Carts

Client Hospitality

Course Preparation

Hospitality Logistics

Marshals

Photography

ShotLink

Special Needs Shuttle

Spectator Information

Standard Bearers

Supply Distribution

Ticket Sales

Transportation

Volunteer Tent

The PGA Tour Championship begins Sept. 19 at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. More on the Tour Championship volunteer registration can be found on the PGA Tour website.
