Tim Tebow sports ‘Buddy the Elf’ jersey

Just when we thought we’d seen it all Tim Tebow continues to shock the world.
On July 14, Tebow and the rest of the St. Lucie Mets rocked “Buddy the Elf” jerseys most likely for some “Christmas in July” promotional event.

Tebow's holiday themed jersey is being auctioned off, with the bidding scheduled to come to an end at midnight July 18.
Tebow is hitting .321 since his promotion to the advanced-Class A St. Lucie, with 11 RBIs, three home runs and six walks in 17 games, however, New York Mets General Manager Sandy Alderson told ESPN he doesn't expect Tebow to be called up to the majors any time soon.
