Social media reacts to Atlanta United’s record six all-star selections

Atlanta United fans attending the MLS All-Star game, which will be played against Juventus Aug. 1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, will see a lot of familiar faces.

A record six Atlanta United players were voted into the MLS All-Star Fan XI, and the reaction on social media was swift - and mixed.

Not everyone was pleased with Atlanta United’s dominance in the voting, though.

Including one fan who remembers one of the Five Stripes getting injured in last year’s all-star game.
