Is it really the offseason if one of Georgia’s star players doesn’t suffer an injury and stir up some nerves?
After a fishing mishap left starting quarterback Jake Fromm with a hook in his calf in June, a boating accident earlier this week resulted in a fractured hand. As you can imagine, fans and others took to social media to react to Fromm’s latest mishap.

Yikes...bad news for UGA. QB Jake Fromm breaks his hand in a "freak accident" at the lake.

Fans went into panic mode as soon as the news broke, but Coach Kirby Smart was quick to de-escalate the situation, allowing the Bulldog faithful to breathe a sigh of relief.
Georgia coach Kirby Smart confirmed to ESPN the UGASports report on QB Jake Fromm's injury and said it was a small fracture in Fromm's (left) non-throwing hand. Smart said Fromm was already throwing again and wouldn't miss any summer workouts.

Some fans offered up suggestions for keeping the sophomore quarterback injury-free for the remainder of the summer.

If I get 50K retweets, I’ll quit my job, move to Athens and shadow Fromm around to make sure nothing happens to our QB1 again. Go.....

Can we make sure Fromm doesn’t go out on anymore boats this summer? Man can’t stop hurting himself

While others considered the impact the accident would have on the 2018 season.
We get it internet. Jake Fromm’s LEFT HAND is broken. We’ll probably only beat Tennessee 40-0.

But with news that Fromm won’t miss any snaps in practice, it appears there is no need to fret.
Fromm will be just fine. Never underestimate the power of the G. #GoDawgs
