Tickets were put on sale for the MLS Cup shortly after Atlanta United clinched a spot in the league championship game Thursday night. Atlanta United will host Western Conference champion Portland.

The game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the team website, www.atlutd.com, via Ticketmaster.

Atlanta United advanced to the title game in only its second season with a series victory over the New York Red Bulls by a 3-1 aggregate score. The Red Bulls won Thursday’s second leg, 1-0, on a late goal at home. It was not enough to overcome Atlanta United’s 3-0 win at home in the first leg.
