Fan voting for the 2019 MLS All-Star Game is now open with eight Atlanta United players on the ballot.

The listed Atlanta United players are goalkeeper Brad Guzan, defenders Michael Parkhurst and Leandro Gonzalez Pirez; midfielders Ezequiel Barco, Julian Gressel, Pity Martinez and Darlington Nagbe; and forward Josef Martinez. Centerback Miles Robinson, who was just named to the preliminary roster for the United State’s Gold Cup team, is not on the ballot.

Fans may vote online at mlssoccer.com, through the MLS app and via EA Sports. Balloting will run through 11:59 p.m. on June 13.

The MLS All-Stars will play 10-time Spanish champions Atletico Madrid at Orlando City Stadium on July 31. Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosted the game last year.

The fan ballot was created by media members who nominated a total of 192 players, eight from each team with at least one player per position. The voting took place May 9-16 and panel did not include The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Fans may vote for one goalkeeper, and at least three defenders, four midfielders, and two forwards.
