Atlanta United will host Club America in the second Campeones Cup, it was announced Monday.

The game will be played at 8 p.m. Aug. 14 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Atlanta United will represent MLS as the defending champion and Club America will represent the Mexican League (Liga MX). Club America earned its spot by defeating Tigres UANL, last year’s Campeones Cup winner, on penalties Sunday.

Tigres UANL defeated Toronto FC, 3-1, in last year’s Campeones Cup at BMO Field.

The Campeones Cups is part of a collaboration between MLS and Liga MX. In addition to the match, the Leagues Cup will take place in July and August with four MLS and four Liga MX clubs facing off in single-elimination play before a final Sept. 18 in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the Campeones Cup are on sale via TicketMaster.
