Here are a few things to know on Tuesday:

1. Braves split doubleheader with Mets

In Monday's doubleheader against the New York Metes, the Atlanta Braves won game one, 9-2, and lost game two, 3-2. The Braves and Mets play again at Citi Field on Tuesday at 7:10 p.m.

2. Julio Jones limited in practice

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones was listed as limited on Monday's injury report after suffering a back injury against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

3. Eason closer to a return

Seth Emerson reports sophomore quarterback Jacob Eason is closer to a return, according to Georgia coach Kirby Smart. Eason injured his knee in the Bulldogs' season opener against Appalachian State.

4. Hawks sign shooting guard John Jenkins

The Atlanta Hawks announced the signing of shooting guard John Jenkins on Monday. Jenkins was drafted by the Hawks in 2012 and played for the Hawks from 2012-2014.

5. Opinion: The Falcons weren't lucky, they won

Jeff Schultz writes his opinion that the Atlanta Falcons weren't lucky in Sunday's 30-26 win over the Detroit Lions, they deserved the win.
