1. Ben Garland named Falcons’ Man of the Year

Atlanta Falcons offensive lineman Ben Garland was named the team's Walter Payton Man of the Year and was also nominated for the national honor which will be announced on Feb. 3.

2. Defense will be a priority for the Braves

David O'Brien writes Atlanta Braves general manager and vice president Alex Anthopoulos is intent of making the Braves defense among the team's top priorities.

3. Two Bulldogs land on AP’s All-America list

Linebacker Roquan Smith and tackle Isaiah Wynn landed on the Associated Press' All-America list released Monday.

4. Why did Bud bench Schroder?

5. GHSA facing backlash for rescheduled games
