Here are a few things to know on Monday:

1. Falcons beat Bears

The Falcons won their first game of the regular season on Sunday against the Bears, 23-17. Falcons pass rusher Brooks Reed sealed the win when he sacked Bears quarterback Mike Glennon for a 12-yard loss on fourth-and-goal with less than 10 seconds remaining. D. Orlando Ledbetter gives out grades for the Falcons' offense, defense, special teams and coaching.

2. Braves win series finale against Marlins with walk-off

The Braves defeated the Marlins 10-8 on Sunday when Lane Adams hit a walk-off homer in the 11th inning. The game-winning home run was Adams' first walk-off at any level. The Braves have Monday off and begin a three-game series at the Nationals on Tuesday.

3. Atlanta United defeat Dallas FC, 3-0

Atlanta United won their first game inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday 3-0 over Dallas FC. The win keeps Atlanta in sixth place and in the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.

4. Falcons plan to open Mercedes-Benz roof at first home game

For the Falcons regular-season home opener on Sunday, the team plans to open the retractable roof of Mercedes-Benz Stadium if the weather permits. Tim Tucker has more.

5. Georgia Tech at UCF still on

With Hurricane Irma pounding the state of Florida on Sunday, Georgia Tech's game at UCF is still scheduled to be played on Saturday.
