Here are a few things to know on Monday:

1. Georgia Dome imploded

At 7:30 a.m. on Monday morning, the Georgia Dome was imploded into a pile of rubble and dust.

2. Falcons to play Seahawks

The Atlanta Falcons play the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night at Seattle's CenturyLink Field at 8:30 p.m. Falcons running back Devonta Freeman is not expected to play after suffering his second concussion of the season during the Falcons' last game on Nov. 12. Monday night's game can be watched on ESPN.

3. Hawks play Spurs

The Atlanta Hawks travel to play the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night at 8:30 p.m. The game can be watched on Fox Sports Southeast.

4. Georgia Tech still working on 12th game for the season

After having their game against UCF canceled due to an incoming hurricane, Georgia Tech athletic director Todd Stansbury said the university is still working to schedule a 12th football game this season.

5. Georgia Tech beats Bethune-Cookman

In the Yellow Jackets first game back in the United States after playing UCLA in China, Georgia Tech men's basketball defeated Bethune-Cookman 65-62 at McCamish Pavilion. Coverage of the game available on the AJC.com.
