Here’s five things to know on Wednesday:

1. Braves top Blue Jays, 9-5

The Atlanta Braves defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 9-5 on Tuesday afternoon in Toronto. Michael Cunningham recaps  the performances of Matt Kemp, Freddie Freeman and Dansby Swanson during the two-game series. The Braves return to SunTrust Park for a stretch of nine games on Wednesday and will start the homestand with a two-game series against Toronto. Wednesday's game is scheduled to begin at 7:35 p.m.

2. Hawks' GM search continues

3. Peyton Manning to host the 2017 ESPYs

Between commercials and television show appearances, a retired Peyton Manning has squeezed in some time to host the ESPYs. The ESPYs will air on July 12.

4. Braves to honor I-85 construction company, DOT and provide discount tickets

To celebrate the opening of I-85, the Atlanta Braves will sell tickets from $8.50 and below for five of the next nine home games at SunTrust Park. The Braves will also honor representatives from C.W. Matthews Contracting Company and Georgia Department of Transportation commissioner Russell McMurray before the game for their work rebuilding I-85.

5. Georgia alumna Maria Taylor to join "College GameDay" team

ESPN announced on Tuesday that ESPN and SEC Network host, reporter and analyst Maria Taylor will replace Samantha Ponder on "College GameDay" this season.  Taylor's response can be found on the AJC.com.
