It’s no secret Dennis Schroder and Boston Celtics’ point guard Isaiah Thomas engaged in a public dispute earlier this season.

In February, Schroder accused Thomas of insulting the Hawks’ player’s mother during a game between the Celtics and Hawks. An accusation which Thomas denies.

However, follow the loss of Thomas’ sister, Chyna Thomas, on Saturday in a one-car accident in Federal Way, Washington, Schroder paused the feud to send his condolences to Thomas on Twitter.

Thomas played through the visible pain on Sunday evening as the Celtics took on the Chicago Bulls. The Celtics lost Game 1 of the series, 106-102.

Several other Hawks’ players also sent messages and condolences to Thomas on Twitter.
