Schroder has near double-double for Jam

Rookie Dennis Schroder had 16 points and nine assists for the host Bakersfield (Calif.) Jam in a 112-106 loss to the Santa Clara Warriors in NBA Development League action Thursday.

Schroder also had four rebounds and six turnovers in 41 minutes.

John Jenkins had 18 points, four rebounds, three assists and zero turnovers in 38 minutes.

If was the fourth game with the Jam for each of the Hawks assignees.

The Jam play back-to-back games at the Reno Bighorns Saturday and Sunday.
