Rockies sign former Yellow Jacket Charlie Blackmon to six-year contract extension

April 4, 2018The Colorado Rockies and former Georgia Tech baseball star Charlie Blackmon agreed to a six-year, $108 million contract extension on Wednesday.

Last season, the 31-year-old outfielder hit 37 home runs and recorded a .331 batting average. The former Yellow Jacket finished fifth in the National League MVP voting.
