Report: Thad Matta ‘serious candidate’ to replace Mark Fox

According to reports, former Ohio State basketball coach Thad Matta is a 'serious candidate' to replace Mark Fox as Georgia's men's basketball coach.
Josh Rothstein, a college basketball insider for CBS Sports, tweeted that talks could start as soon as Sunday.
Former Ohio State HC Thad Matta is a serious candidate for the vacancy at Georgia, per multiple sources. Discussions between both sides could begin as early as today.

While at Ohio State from 2004-17, the former Buckeyes coach went 337-123. He took the Buckeyes to the Final Four twice, once in 2007 and again in 2012.
