Former professional wrestler Ric Flair is in critical condition with "multiple organ problems", according to a report by Flair’s fiancée, Wendy Barlow.

Flair, 68, has been at an Atlanta-area hospital since the weekend when he was admitted for a surgical procedure.

Barlow released a statement on Wednesday afternoon on Facebook that shared an update about Flair’s condition and what initially caused Flair’s hospital visit.

"I took Ric to the hospital Friday night with severe abdominal pain," Barlow wrote, according to TMZ Sports. "From that moment on it all seems like a nightmare... Multiple organ problems. Not to go into too many details I want everyone to know he still need sprayers as he is still in critical condition."

In her statement, Barlow denied Flair's surgery was related to his colon.
