Five months after point guard Isaiah Thomas was tradedf to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Kyrie Irving, he’s being traded again to the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cavaliers will send Thomas, Channing Frye and their protected 2018 first-round NBA Draft pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for guard Jordan Clarkson and forward Larry Nance, Jr.

Thomas averaged 14.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 15 games with the Cavaliers after recovering from a hip injury suffered last season.

The Thomas-Frye trade was the first big trade the Cavaliers made on Thursday before the 3 p.m. ET deadline. Quickly after, the Cavaliers traded Dwyane Wade to Miami for a second-round pick and Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose to the Utah Jazz for Sacramento Kings’ George Hill and Jazz’s Rodney Hood as part of a three-way trade.
