Roswell's Possum Trot 10K Road Race

Roswell's Possum Trot 10K Road Race and Fun Run was held Saturday, a major event leading up to the Peachtree Road Race.

Runners start the 30th annual Possum Trot 10k Road Race & Fun Run in Roswell on Saturday.

The race is one of the longest-running qualifiers for the Peachtree Road Race.

Holly Ortlund of Decatur was the first woman to cross the finish line.

Maeve Doyle (left) and her brother Declan, both age 4, had comfortable seats to watch the race. Over 975 runners started and finished near the Chattahoochee Nature Center on Willeo Road.
