The bats came alive for the Peachtree City American team Saturday as the Southeast Region representative blanked the Northwest squad from Idaho, 3-0, to avoid elimination at the Little League World Series.

The Georgia team racked up 10 hits over the Little Leaguers from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Outfielder Bo Walker singled on a hard ground ball to center in the top of the 2nd inning, bringing home Jack Ryan to give Georgia the 1-0 lead.

Catcher Chase Fralick scored a run in the third and drove in the final run in the sixth.

Pitcher Tai Peete took the win, allowing zero runs on one hit, while striking out five and walking one in three innings of work.

Peete also led the Southeast team with three hits in four at bats.

Peachtree City next plays Monday (8 p.m., ESPN2) in Williamsport, Pa., against the losing squad of Sunday's matchup between Staten Island (N.Y.) vs. Houston.
