During Monday Night Football, the Washington Redskins locked arms and stood for the national anthem.

This statement comes one week after seven Washington players took a knee during the national anthem.

On the other side of the field, Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters and linebacker Ukeme Eligwe sat during the national anthem.

The NFL protests continue after President Donald Trump made comments about the NFL and its players.
