NBA commissioner Adam Silver’s contract has been extended through the 2023-2024 season, the Board of Governors Chairman announced late Wednesday.

Terms of the deal have not been reported.

Silver, who has served as commissioner for four years, succeeded David Stern in February 2014 after eight years as Stern’s deputy commissioner.
