Here are the results of Doug Roberson’s weekly MLS Power Poll:

1. LAFC (16-3-4)

Last week: 1.

Won at New England 2-0.

2. Minnesota (11-7-5)

Last week: 5.

Defeated Portland 1-0.

This team is going to make the playoffs. Good for them. Truly.

3. Philadelphia (12-7-6)

Last week: 7.

Defeated D.C. United 5-1.

An impressive win against an unimpressive opponent.

4. San Jose (11-7-5)

Last week: 2.

Drew with Columbus 1-1.

5. Portland (9-8-5)

Last week: 3.

Defeated at Minnesota 1-0.

6. Seattle (11-7-5)

Last week: 4.

Defeated by Sporting KC 3-2.

An inexplicable loss considering how tight the West race is.

7. Atlanta United (12-9-3)

Last week: 10.

Defeated L.A. Galaxy, 2-0.

When it plays with confidence, I still think it is the best team with the most talent in MLS.

8. New York Red Bulls (11-9-4)

Last week: 9.

Defeated Toronto 2-0.

9. NYCFC (9-4-8)

Last week: 6.

Defeated at Real Salt Lake 3-1.

Who is going to score the big goals for them?

10. L.A. Galaxy (12-10-1)

Last week: 8.

Defeated at Atlanta United, 2-0.

A paper tiger.

11. Real Salt Lake (10-9-4)

Last week: 12.

Defeated NYCFC 3-1.

This team is fun to watch when Jefferson Savarino is in the mood.

12. D.C. United (9-7-9)

Last week: 11.

Defeated by Philadelphia 5-1.

This team could be the darkhorse to not make the playoffs if Ben Olsen can’t get it issues in midfield resolved.

13. Orlando (8-11-5)

Last week: 18.

Defeated Dallas 2-0.

Every result went Orlando’s way last weekend, opening the door for it to have a chance to get back into playoff race.

14. Columbus (7-14-4)

Last week: 17.

Draw at San Jose 1-1.

Not even Gyasi Zardes can miss from 3 yards when he’s unmarked and only has to head the ball.

15. Montreal (10-12-3)

Last week: 13.

Defeated at Colorado 6-3.

16. Dallas (9-9-6)

Last week: 14.

Defeated at Orlando 2-0 despite having Paxton Pomykal. Can we give the kid a little time, please?

17. New England (9-9-6)

Last week: 15.

Defeated by LAFC 2-0.

I’m not as high on this team as others. I think it still has major issues in defense.

18. Toronto (9-10-5)

Last week: 16.

Defeated at Red Bulls 2-0.

Its defense is abysmal, most of its midfield lacks creativity and speed. It’s not going to make the playoffs.

19. Houston (9-11-3)

Last week: 19.

Defeated by Chicago 1-0.

Goodbye Wilmer Cabrera.

20. Chicago (6-10-9)

Last week: 20.

Won at Houston 1-0.

21. Colorado (6-12-5)

24. Cincinnati (5-17-2)

Last week: 24.

Defeated by Vancouver 2-1.
