Mets considering a midseason promotion for Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow could have a promotion in his near future.
According to the New York Post, a club source said the New York Mets organization has discussed moving Tebow to a higher level in the minors after the All-Star Game.
Tebow signed a minor league contract with the Mets in September and has been a member of the Mets' low-A affiliate the Columbia Fireflies.
In his minor league debut, Tebow hit a home run against the Augusta GreenJackets. Tebow has two home runs on the season.
In his 100 at bats with the Fireflies, Tebow averages .250 and totals 11 RBIs, 25 hits and 29 strikeouts.
