Jeff Francoeur didn't wear his much-discussed "lucky underwear" with the turkeys on them to the ballpark Tuesday. The Braves right fielder said the Braves are 7-0 when he has worn them to the ballpark, including Sunday when they beat Boston 2-1 to avoid being swept.

Francoeur said after Sunday's game that he would wear the Thanksgiving-themed briefs again Tuesday, for the first time on back-to-back game days (the Braves were off Monday). Alas, he and his wife, Catie, went to the lake Monday, and Francoeur said the briefs were still in the washer when he got home at noon Tuesday.

In a rush to get to the ballpark, he decided not to wait for a drying cycle.
