Defender Walker Zimmerman is expected to miss four-to-six weeks after being diagnosed with a MCL strain, FC Dallas announced on Tuesday.
Zimmerman, from Lawrenceville, Ga., suffered the injury to his left knee in Sunday's match against the Houston Dynamo. The game ended in a 0-0 draw,
FC Dallas said Zimmerman had an MRI on Monday at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics and Surgery which confirmed the MCL strain.
