A.J. Howard committed to Kennesaw State on Saturday, according to the web site www.ksuowlhowl.com.

Howard, a 5-11, 180-pound cornerback from Harris County High School, is the second player to commit to coach Brian Bohannon this week. South Paulding’s Chandler Burks was the program’s first commitment for the Class of 2014. The Owls hope to begin playing in 2015.

Howard is listed as a two-star recruit by Rivals, which had him receiving offers from Jacksonville State, Mercer, Presbyterian and Western Kentucky.
