A panel of media relations directors, broadcasters and journalists determined the Kennesaw State Owls should be placed at the No. 5 overall spot on the STATS FCS 2018 preseason poll, the University announced Monday.

Kennesaw State is coming off its third season in program history in which it recorded a 12-2 overall record, won the Big South title and advanced to the FCS quarterfinals.

The Owls earned their highest spot in program history on Monday’s STATS FCS list after finishing at the No. 8 spot last season.
