ESPN named former Falcons linebacker Jessie "The Hammer" Tuggle –– father of Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett –– the best undrafted NFL player in Atlanta Falcons history.

The five-time Pro Bowler and Falcons’ all-time leading tackler played 14 seasons with the franchise. Tuggle is also a member of the Falcons’ Ring of Honor.

Tuggle once had 24 tackles in a game, and he recorded 1,640 tackles, 21 sacks, and five touchdowns over 14 seasons.

Tuggle attended Valdosta State University before starting his NFL career with the Falcons in 1987.
