The Auburn Tigers and UCF Knights will face off in the 2018 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, it was announced Sunday.

Here are a few notes about the game:

Kickoff: Monday, Jan. 1, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. ET

Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.

TV: The 2018 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl can be watched on ESPN or Watch ESPN.

What to know about the matchup:

Auburn (10-3, 7-1) won the SEC West with a win over Alabama on Nov. 25, but was unable to secure a spot in the playoff because of its losses to Clemson, LSU, Georgia in the SEC Championship.

No. 7 Auburn lost to Georgia 28-7 in the SEC Championship game on Saturday and fell from the No. 2 spot in the College Football Playoff rankings to the No. 7 spot on Sunday.

UCF, ranked No. 12, is the only undefeated team in the College Football Playoff after winning the American Athletic Conference Championship over Memphis on Saturday. The game went into double-overtime with UCF winning, 62-55.

UCF coach Scott Frost has accepted the head coach position at Nebraska, but Frost is expected to coach his team in the Peach Bowl.
