The Thrashers signed forwards Jeremy Morin and Eric O’Dell to entry-level pro contracts Tuesday.

Morin, a second-round selection (45th overall) in the 2009 draft, played for Kitchener of the Ontario Hockey League last season. Morin, 19, was third on the team and 12th in the OHL with 83 points (47 goals, 36 assists). He had 21 points (12 goals, nine assists) in 20 playoff games and was part of the gold-medal USA team at the World Championships.

O’Dell led Sudbury with 68 points (33 goals, 35 assists) in the Ontario Hockey League last season. The 19-year-old center also appeared in 10 playoff games for the Thrashers’ AHL affiliate Chicago Wolves, registering six assists. He was acquired by the Thrashers from Anaheim in the Erik Christensen trade in 2009.
