  • The Thrashers, losers of two straight, are coming off Thursday's 4-3 defeat to the Coyotes. They have won just once (1-5-1) since returning from the All-Star break and six times (6-13-5) in the past 24 games.
  • The Oilers are coming off Thursday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens, their second straight victory for the team with the fewest points in the NHL.

  • Andrew Ladd has three goals in the past two games for the Thrashers and leads the team with 20.
  • Tobias Enstrom has three assists in three games since the defenseman returned from a broken finger.
  • Alexander Burmistrov, Freddy Meyer, Fredrik Modin and Jim Slater are out for Atlanta.
