The Thrashers, losers of two straight, are coming off Thursday's 4-3 defeat to the Coyotes. They have won just once (1-5-1) since returning from the All-Star break and six times (6-13-5) in the past 24 games.

The Oilers are coming off Thursday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens, their second straight victory for the team with the fewest points in the NHL.

Andrew Ladd has three goals in the past two games for the Thrashers and leads the team with 20.

Tobias Enstrom has three assists in three games since the defenseman returned from a broken finger.

Alexander Burmistrov, Freddy Meyer, Fredrik Modin and Jim Slater are out for Atlanta.
