-- The Thrashers have won two consecutive, their first back-to-back wins since Jan. 2 and 5. Both victories came in overtime, as they have just three regulation wins in the past 32 games.

-- The Devils are coming off a loss to the Senators that snapped a four-game win streak.

-- Blake Wheeler has three goals and three assists in eight games with the Thrashers.

-- A sign of their two-month struggle, the Thrashers are tied for the most empty-net goals allowed in the NHL, with 11.

-- Dustin Byfuglien (lower body) and Radek Dvorak (lower body) are questionable. Patrice Cormier (upper body), Freddy Meyer (upper body) and Jim Slater (concussion) are out for the Thrashers.
